Written in mid 90’s. Set in 1993. Nine scenes. Eight characters.
And again. A massive delight. Every time. Forever.
The bit with one actor playing two characters seems unnecessarily chaotic and also shallow. Gets old. Also not probable.
Not original, but still a lot of fun.
And again. Bit of a sad, violent ending.
15 characters. Starts off with a bang. Infidelity on page 2. Some serious physical demands in Act 2. Is the Chandebise/Poche device necessary? Seems a little much. And what does it mean? Not clear how it resonates with romance, infidelity, etc. Just a gimmick. Act 3 drops off severely.
Nothing special. With the Mexican punchline and multiple wives/girlfriends gag, probably past its sell by date now.
How does he do it? He just does. From an often very dark pen, a comedy to revive faith in humanity. Brilliant fun.
